Porsche is living golden times, in the true sense of the term. Its list offers everything your dream garage might want, starting from an agile cabrio or coupe with a generous 4-cylinder turbo engine, passing through an elegant saloon, two different SUVs – a medium and a large one – one of the most versatile grand tourer ever, which then raises the bar of its performance becoming a track day beast, without forgetting the numerous declinations like soft top, Targa and with traction on the rear wheels only or on all four wheels.
And with the Panamera Sport Turismo knocking at the door, you would not miss anything. But in Stuttgart they wanted to reinvigorate the superiority of the 911 Turbo S, the incredibly performance GT with all-wheel drive and the classic engine overhanging beyond the rear axle. Not satisfied enough, the German technicians took the opportunity to go over the 600 horses barrier, reaching 607, with 700Nm of torque and numbers extremely dangerous for your health – 0-100 in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 330 per hour.
Attracting the attention when you do not fly as fast as the wind we find the special gold paint (Gold Yellow Metallic), interrupted only by black details and carbon fiber, the same goes for the 20-inch central locking wheels that conceal a ceramic braking system, also with black calipers. The luxury and sportiness goes on in the passenger compartment, always suitable for long distances, as well as blasting your bottom on track, and to leave nothing to chance, Porsche also offers a set of dedicated suitcases (€ 5,474) and a wristwatch also produced in just 500 specimens (€ 9,950) – by the way, we were almost forgetting the cost of the car, which stands at € 259,992!
