2017 Mini Countryman

Behold the all-new Countryman – the biggest Mini in the company’s 57-year history.

Now 200mm longer and 30mm wider, with 75mm more wheelbase, there’s some genuinely useful room inside – like space for three rear passengers, and up to 1,309 litres of boot, 220 more than its predecessor.

The outgoing Countryman was no looker, but that didn’t hinder sales…

A Cooper S E plug-in hybrid, which comes later, has 221bhp, an EV range of 25 miles and returns 134.5mpg on the official cycle, while the standard engines start at £22,465 for the 134bhp 3cyl Cooper, rising to £29,565 for the spangly Cooper SD ALL4. First deliveries in Feb, 2017.
