The revised Audi RS3 Sportback has gained more power, extra torque and new styling tweaks, plus a top speed of 174mph if the buyer requests it.
Sitting alongside the recently updated RS3 Saloon, the hot hatch features a reworked 2.5-litre engine with 394bhp – 33bhp more than before.
The BMW M140i xDrive rival achieves 0-62mph in 4.1sec, which is 0.2sec faster than its predecessor. By comparison, the BMW covers 0-62mph in 4.6sec.
The hot Audi uses a revised seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a quattro all-wheel drive system with variable torque distribution.
The revised RS3 Sportback will make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March. UK deliveries will start in August and it is expected to cost from about £45.000.
